I enjoy designing & (co-)facilitating spaces for groups to build trust, tap into their collective intelligence and creativity and learn together offline and online.
I am trained in Participatory Leadership & Facilitation (Art of Hosting) and have been gathering experience in event design, management and facilitation since 2013. To complement my skills, I can tap into my network of collaborators with diverse areas of expertise who are generally really lovely people to work with.
I combine elements of community building and agile co-creation with practices from Joanna Macy’s The Work that Reconnects, Nonviolent Communication, Sophy Bank’s Healthy Human Culture framework, embodiment, games, sharing circles, art and improv theatre, meditations and rituals. I like to hold space for collaborative, fun & playful processes that help us to connect with ourselves, each other and the world around us and support us in creating desirable futures.
Event Experience
I (co-)hosted conversations and facilitated workshops, collaborated on large conferences of 25.000 visitors and co-created small festivals, gatherings, trainings, circles and retreats. Among the events that I helped to organise or contributed to are Ubumuntu Arts Festival, IamKigali Festival, re:publica – the conference on internet & society, re:publica Accra, The Global Innovation Gathering‘s annual Summit, The Human Networks Convergence, the Ouishare Summit, Boundless Roots Gathering, WWF’s Baltic Gathering 2020, Grassroots2Global‘s Reworlding and Sunrise Assembly.
